My paintings are rooted in the outdoors and I use very intentional colour combinations and mark-making to evoke both the physical and emotional sense of a place.

I work in oils or acrylics and often use mediums to add texture into the paint. I have a little studio at home in South Cheshire. Every day as a painter is a learning day!

My work features in local art exhibitions and is used to help stage homes on the property market. I regularly paint commissions, capturing places of special significance for clients. As a qualified primary teacher, I'm also passionate about helping children to create their own art.
